Oh sh*t.
Is this tax bill... normal?
You have a business you worked hard to build. You have an accountant you pay every month. And yet - when it comes to money - you feel completely in the dark.
You are not sure what your accountant is actually doing. You would not know if they were doing a good job or not. You receive a tax bill once a year and take their word for it. No financial reports. No explanations. No questions answered.
Here is the specific thing that makes it worse: you are already paying someone to handle this. You have an accountant. You should be covered. And yet you have no idea whether they are doing a good job, no idea what to ask them, and no idea what to do if the answer is wrong.
You are paying for a service you cannot evaluate - and that is its own kind of helpless.
So you avoid it.
You tell yourself you will deal with it later.
You open the bank account and close it again. When the tax bill arrives — you just pay it and hope it is correct. Not because you do not care. Because opening it feels like deep water. And you have not yet found a reason to believe you will not drown.
And if you are wondering whether it is just you - it is not.
"I am not the only one struggling and afraid of my finances" is something almost every woman in Her Money Game has said in their first session. There is a reason for that. And it is not what you think.
Testimonials
“I am not the only one struggling and afraid of my finances.”
— Elisabeth Fernandes, Her Money Game Member
“The biggest aha moment was understanding what an accountant actually does. My expectations of him were so high - and that was making me incredibly frustrated. Now I understand what I need to ask him for”
— Anna Fourie, Her Money Game Member
“Having completed some very difficult calculations and cost analysis, I felt my self-confidence level rising. When you actually complete a major task you have only been thinking about for a long while - it feels like a victory. And that feeling spreads to other parts of your life.”
— Natalia, Her Money Game Member
“You were the floating device around me - step by step. Not straight into the deep water. And then I removed it and I started swimming. I am not in the shallow anymore, but I am not in the deep yet. And I am not scared.”
—Olya, Her Money Game Member
Women who work with me:
Go from crossing their fingers at tax time to ask their accountant the right questions — and saving money because of it
Complete their P&L every month, not because they have to, but because they finally understand what it is telling them.
And the woman who used to dread opening her bank account? She checks her numbers every morning with her coffee — and she actually looks forward to it.
That shift - from hoping to knowing - is what Her Money Game exists for. And it is available to you too.

I knew the numbers. I still had to face the fear.
When I started my own business, I did the opposite of everything my parents had taught me. I stopped looking at my numbers. I ran free events when I should have been charging. I spent without tracking. And underneath all of it: I was ashamed to say I did not have money. So I acted like I did.
Here is what makes that uncomfortable to admit. At the time I had 15 years in corporate finance, ten years as CFO of an international software company, and a Forbes CFO of the Year award on my wall.
Growing up, money lived in envelopes. Every expense planned, nothing wasted. I spent years trying to escape what felt like scarcity. In doing so I threw out the discipline that had kept me financially stable my whole life.
So I went back to my own numbers and started doing what I had been teaching others to do.
I was not looking at my own numbers.
The tools worked — because the story underneath them had finally shifted.
That is the work Her Money Game is built on.
